Facebook mints copacetic gains via new iPad app

Facebook has finally released its long-awaited iPad app and bring in support for social games on the mobile versions of its online service. Facebook has claimed that the mobile versions of its website will now offer better integration with third-party social games and apps.

With this app, Facebook users on mobile devices (like Apple's iPhone and iPad) will receive alerts in their newsfeed when their friends play certain games or invite them to play along with them.  Also, Facebook's mobile service will offer bookmarks within the website of a user's favorite games, for quick access. In addition, it will offer enhanced photo-viewing capabilities and messaging capabilities.

Analysts associated with Facebook believe that the social networking giant might seek additional profits through Apple iPad. Most of the games on Facebook offer users an ability to purchase virtual goods such as additional equipment or clothing to enhance their gaming experience using Facebook's so-called Credits denomination. To avail or add these credits, users need to swipe their debit/ credit cards. About 30 percent of Facebook’s revenue comes from these tradable card transactions.

Presently, Facebook is leading the social networking domain with over 800 million members. Roughly 350 million of them are mobile users. Plus, the number of people using tablets to access social media is rapidly climbing thereby increasing the chances of easy money for Facebook.
